Individuals:

Check with your public school central office to see if a Kentucky Scholars Program has been initiated in your school system. If it has, check with your school principal to find out when and where presentations will be conducted.

Presentations are typically offered to eighth and ninth grade students in a classroom setting during the school day by business and community representatives two weeks prior to your school's course selection dates.

School Districts and School Representatives:

If you would like your district to take part in the Kentucky Scholars Program simply contact:

Businesses:

Business support is critical to the success of the Kentucky Scholars Program. Businesses and their representatives often support the initiative by:
  • Delivering the Kentucky Scholars message via PowerPoint presentation to classes of eighth and ninth graders shortly before they select the courses they will take throughout high school
  • Finding a school, class, or student to sponsor
  • Supporting the scholar's journey by providing tutoring and mentoring assistance to those who may need it
  • Providing incentives and motivators to help students stay focused on and engaged in the Kentucky Scholars Course of Study
